The La Hague Cultural Centre is located in Beaumont-Agues, in the Cotentin Peninsula of France. This is an area with high-quality landscape resources. The completion of the cultural center not only enables the integration of architecture and the environment, but also complements each other. On the shores of the peninsula, lush trees are planted on both sides of the sinking roads. While forming a huge windbreak, they also resist the fierce exposure of the summer sun. Through the gaps between the leaves, the sunlight is gently sprinkled on the ground, creating mottled light and shadows. These landscape elements not only constitute a special regional culture in the area, but also become a source of inspiration for designers.
