一个伟大的名字被亿万人传颂。一代英明领袖永远活在人民心中。毛泽东,这位共和国的缔造者,激励着每一位中国人。为了缅怀领袖的丰功伟绩,共瞻领袖风采,经党中央批准,中共延安地委、行署决定在延安王家坪的革命纪念馆广场敬塑一尊毛泽东铜像,并定于1997年1月13日党中央、毛主席进驻延安60周年纪念日揭幕。铜像由国家著名雕塑师程允贤先生设计,由大连市大青金属有限公司敬铸。像高5米,重约3吨。1996年10月26日,在行署副专员蒋旭光率领下,我们一行23人赴大连迎接毛泽东铜像回延安。光荣而艰巨的任务令人兴奋!漫漫4000多公里征程充满了艰辛。日夜兼程,一路风尘,多少动人的情景永留心中。
A great name is spoken by hundreds of millions. A generation of wise leaders will always live in the hearts of the people. Mao Zedong, the founder of the republic, inspired every Chinese. In order to cherish the memory of the great accomplishments of the leaders, taking a total view of the leader style and the approval of the CPC Central Committee, the CPC Yan’an Committee and Administrative Office decided to honor a bronze statue of Mao Zedong in the revolutionary memorial plaza in Wangan Ping, Yan’an. On January 13, 1997, Chairman Mao’s arrival in Yan’an marks the 60th anniversary of the founding of Yan’an. The statue was designed by Mr. Cheng Yunxian, a famous national sculpture designer, and was cast by Daqing Metal Co., Ltd. Dalian. Like 5 meters high, weighing about 3 tons. On October 26, 1996, under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner of the Administrative Department, Jiang Xuguang, 23 people from our delegation went to Dalian to welcome the bronze statue of Mao Zedong back to Yan’an. Exciting and arduous task exciting! Long journey more than 4,000 kilometers full of hardships. Day and night, all the way dust, how many moving scenes forever mind.
