拉萨水泥厂,是世界上海拔最高的水泥厂。当年为了支援西藏建设,建材行业有一批热血青年为此献出了宝贵的青春。1960年,国家建筑工程部从啟新、江南、昆明、云南等水泥厂抽调了一批职工前往西藏援建拉萨水泥厂。年仅20岁的吴秀俊就是其中一员。吴秀俊,1940年生于昆明,1958年进昆明水泥厂工作,1960年援建拉萨水泥厂,1978年回云南,后在云南省建材科研设计院任实验室主任,高级工程师;1996年退休,之后返聘,仍为水泥事业尽心尽力。
Lhasa Cement Plant, is the world’s highest elevation cement plant. In those days, in order to support the construction of Tibet, a group of passionate youths in the building materials industry devoted their precious youth to this. In 1960, the State Construction Engineering Department transferred a batch of workers from Qixin, Jiangnan, Kunming and Yunnan to aiding the Lhasa Cement Plant in Tibet. Wu Xiujun is only 20 years old. Wu Xiujun was born in Kunming in 1940 and worked in Kunming Cement Plant in 1958. He assisted Lhasa Cement Plant in 1960 and returned to Yunnan in 1978. He later served as director and senior engineer of Yunnan Building Materials Research and Design Institute and retired in 1996. After that, Recruitment, still dedicated to the cause of cement.
