INTRODUCTION The Wuqi-Zogang granite is sandwiched between the Nu River and the Lancang River in eastern Tibet, forming a granite belt with north-northwest strike. In recent years, the census and scientific research shows that the rock belt is an important tin mineralization belt connected with the western Yunnan tin belt. Under the condition of very few previous data, the author conducted a research work on the metallogenic conditions of tin deposits and gained rich geological data including granite. This paper only discusses the tectonic environment of trace elements and rare earth elements in the granitic in-situ granites, and concludes that the Leuqi-Zungu granite belt is mainly composed of late Indosinian intraplate granite and late Yanshan collision granite , The granites produced in these two tectonic settings have a direct connection with the deep-cleavage Lancang and continental collisions along the Bangong-Nujiang suture, respectively.
