本研究以问卷的形式,采用SPSS数据分析软件,对750名独立学院非英语专业学生的英语学习策略使用情况进行了调查。研究结果发现,除了使用补偿策略和元认知策略外,学生较少使用其他策略。而且理工类学生和文史类学生在学习策略的使用上也呈现差异,因此,教师在大学英语教学过程中要注重培养学生的学习策略意识,引导学生选用适当的学习策略,以提高自主学习效果。
This study investigated the use of English learning strategies by 750 independent college non-English majors in the form of a questionnaire using SPSS data analysis software. The study found that, in addition to the use of compensation strategies and metacognitive strategies, students use less other strategies. Moreover, there are also differences in the use of learning strategies between science and engineering students and literature and history students. Therefore, in the process of college English teaching, teachers should pay attention to cultivating students’ awareness of learning strategies and guiding students to choose appropriate learning strategies to improve their learning outcomes.
