今有些医者,在中医处方上常开“瓜子”一药名,而调剂员常以“瓜蒌仁”当“瓜子”配入复方,这是错误的。“瓜子”一药究竟应配何种药呢?为此,笔者对“瓜子”一药名进行了考证。“瓜子”一药最早见于《神农本草经》,列为上品。载有:“瓜子,味甘平。主令人说(悦)泽,好颜色,益气不饥。久服轻身耐老。……名医曰,一名白瓜子,生嵩高,冬瓜仁也。八月采。”此后,历代本草学专著如《神农本草经集注》、《本草纲目》等均有记载,但多以“白瓜
