先是因村务纠纷围攻检察机关而被网上追逃,后来为报复村干部又投毒害死12名无辜村民,案发后,他潜逃十多年,隐姓埋名,再娶生子。2016年4月21日,山东省德州市中级人民法院遵照最高人民法院的核准死刑裁定和执行命令,依法将犯投放危险物质罪的刘士亮验明正身,押赴刑场执行死刑。相关布告在案发地贴出后,死者的亲属们哭着说:“堵在心里十多年的那口气,终于吐出来了!”
