上一期,我们发表了本刊记者关于书籍出版、印刷、发行的追踪采访记,题为《加快知识传播的进程》。此文就目前存在的“出书难”、“买书难”问题,作了初步探讨,并认为解决这一问题,应寄希望于改革。本刊评论员文章中也指出,“据估计,如果大胆、果断地进行改革,把潜力充分挖掘出来,现有出版界的生产力,还可有成倍的增长”。本期刊登的三篇文章,是上一期那组报道的续篇,进一步介绍了出版界为加快知识传播进程所作的一些改革的尝试,值得一读。在科技图书出版周期普遍很长的情况下,湖南科技出版社却以出版周期短而独树一帜。安徽科技出版社实行承包责任制后,今年七个月便超额完成了全年的出版任务。由一百多家出版社集资兴办的中国南方图书公司,使出版社逐渐走向生产经营型,是图书发行改革的一个尝试。出版业的改革,还刚刚开始,但它对生产力的发展,已显示出强大的推动力量。希望出版业的改革有更多新的成果,创造出更多新的办法。抓住了改革,就抓住了发展出版事业的关键。在改革中解决问题,在改革中克服困难,在改革中求得出版业的蓬勃发展,这是广大读者的希望,也是出版界共同的愿望。
In the previous issue, we published a follow-up interview with our correspondents on the publication, printing and distribution of books, titled “Accelerating the Process of Knowledge Transmission.” This article made a preliminary study on the existing problems of “difficult publishing books” and “difficult books to buy books”. He also thought that to solve this problem, we should pin our hopes on the reform. The article also pointed out in the commentary, “It is estimated that if the bold and decisive reform, fully tap the potential out of the existing publishing industry productivity, there may be doubled growth.” The three articles published in this issue are the sequel to the last issue of that series, which further introduces the attempts of the publishing industry to reform some of the reforms made in the process of knowledge transfer and is worth reading. In the case of science and technology book publishing cycle is generally very long, Hunan Science and Technology Publishing House is unique in its publication period is short. After implementing the system of contract responsibility, Anhui Science and Technology Press surpassed the annual publication task seven months this year. The book company of Southern China funded by more than one hundred publishers made the publishing house gradually become a model of production and management and was an attempt to reform the issue of books. The reform of the publishing industry has just begun, but it has shown a strong impetus to the development of the productive forces. We hope that there will be more new achievements in the reform of the publishing industry and more new ways will be created. Grasping the reform, we have seized the key to the development of publishing. Solving problems in the process of reform, overcoming difficulties in the process of reform, and achieving vigorous development of the publishing industry in the course of reform are the hopes of the readers and the common aspirations of the publishing industry.
