武汉市汉口胜利街165—167号是1927年中共中央政治局常委会和中共中央秘书厅所在地,是全国现存的少数几个民主革命时期的中共中央机关旧址之一。2014年初,习近平总书记对筹建“武汉中共中央机关旧址纪念馆”请示方案作出批示,要求“修旧如旧,保留原貌,防止建设性破坏”。同时,中共中央批准同意建立中共中央机关旧址纪念馆。武汉中共中央机关是大革命时期的“中南海”。当年中共中央在武汉,革命斗争经历了由高潮到失败再到转折的艰难历程,而汉口中共中央领导机关是这场斗争的指挥中心,它见证和记载了这段辉煌历史。建设中的中共中央机关旧址纪念馆根据博物馆功能需求,将依托该旧址,利用唐生智公馆和怡和洋行公寓,恢复1927年旧址的原貌,举办《中共中央在武汉》辅助陈列。这座纪念馆是全国唯一以中共中央机关命名的纪念馆,它将以朴实真实的面貌展示于世,向观众讲述中国共产党的那段鲜为人知的辉煌历史。
165-167 Shengli Street, Hankou, Wuhan, is the seat of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in 1927. It is one of the existing sites of the CPC Central Committee for the few democratic revolutions in the country. At the beginning of 2014, General Secretary Xi Jinping instructed to set up the “Proposal for the Memorial Site of the Former Central Site of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in Wuhan”, requiring “to repair the old as the old, to preserve the original appearance and to prevent the constructive destruction.” In the meantime, the CPC Central Committee approved the agreement to establish the former site memorial hall of the organs of the CPC Central Committee. The CPC Central Committee in Wuhan was “Zhongnanhai” during the Great Revolution. In the same year, the CPC Central Committee’s revolutionary struggle in Wuhan experienced a difficult journey from climax to failure to turning point. The leading organ of the CPC Central Committee in Hankou was the command center of this struggle, which witnessed and documented this glorious history. According to the functional requirements of the museum, the memorial site of the former site of the CPC Central Committee under construction will rely on the site and use the Tangshengzhi Mansion and Jardine Matheson Apartments to restore the original appearance of the old site in 1927 and organize the “CPC Central Committee in Wuhan” auxiliary exhibition. The memorial, the only one in the country named after the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, will be displayed on earth in a pragmatic and authentic manner and tells the audience about the little-known history of the Chinese Communist Party.
