秋梢是温州蜜柑的良好结果母枝。因此,设法增加秋梢结果母枝的数量和提高其质量,是温州蜜柑增产的一项重要途径。我县1982～1984年连续三年在大部分桔园推广了温州蜜柑夏季修剪技术,已取得了良好的效果。 一、夏季修剪的增产效果 1、增加秋梢结果母枝比例,有利增产 夏季修剪是在秋梢萌发前的夏季进行修剪的,即对当年抽发的春、夏梢进行短截,并结合疏剪,配合剪前剪后的科学管理,使养分集中于果实发育和促使秋梢的抽发,增加二次梢和秋梢结果母枝的比例(见表),
