5月份出现的小阳春,使创业板指数曾反弹至298点水平。可惜好景不常,6月开始指数便辗转回落。7月份,创业板股份跟随大市滑落,至7月19日,指数已跌至240点历史低位。北京成功申办奥运、中国人世在即及美国股市回稳等利好消息,像是对港股起不了任何作用,反之是自7月中开始,每况愈下,恒指曾一度下触3个月以来低位的12250点水平。
