梅兰芳同志治丧委員会截至8月20日为止,收到了来自国内外的四百三十八封唁电,悼念这位艺术大师的逝世。国內各方面的唁电三百五十多封,来自各地文化艺术团体、机关、工厂、学校、各界人士以及梅兰芳同志的生前友好和他的弟子。海外华侨也拍来了唁电。国外的唁电共八十四封,来自苏联,越南民主共和国、朝鮮民主主义人民共和国、蒙古、德意志民主共和国、捷克斯洛伐克、波兰、匈牙利、緬甸、印度尼西亚、阿尔及利亚。
As of August 20, Comrade Mei Lanfang’s Complaints Committee received a total of 438 telegrams from home and abroad in memory of the death of the artist. More than 350 letters and telegrams from all walks of life in China have come from the former friendship and his disciples of various arts and cultural groups, organs, factories, schools, people from all walks of life and Comrade Mei Lanfang. Overseas Chinese also took the electricity. Eighty-four telegrams from foreign countries came from the Soviet Union, the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Mongolia, the German Democratic Republic, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Hungary, Myanmar, Indonesia and Algeria.
