制材工业的布局,和其它工业的布局一样,是一个十分重要的问题。其布局之合理与否,直接关系到制材业在国民经济中所起作用的大小和它的经济效益的高低,影响到新工艺、新技术的推广和产业现代化的进程,决定着能否开展木材综合利用的命运。因此,我们应当从我区制材业的实际情况出发,立足于现在,着眼于将来,缜密地研究一下我区制材业的布局,使之臻于合理、完善,以适应开发新疆、建设新疆的需要。
