Ladlov is a German-Russian scholar of German ethnicity that is significant and influential in international Manas, international Turks and oral poetics. In the second half of the 19th century, he took a pioneering role in collecting and studying the folk literature of all ethnic groups in Central Asia, especially the texts of the “Manas Epic” in the Kirghiz. His description of Manaski’s epic scene, its introduction, the discussion of Manaski’s creation of epic poems with ready-made “public passages” and the comparative study of Kirgiz epic singers and Homer inspired the Western classical “Homer Problem” experts, and gave a great enlightenment to the emergence of “Oral Programming Theory ” (that is, “Parry-Lode Theory ”) that later influenced the world folklore community. The summarization of his academic view still has great reference and reference for our scholars.
