Gastrointestinal motor dysfunction is not uncommon, but research has not been well conducted in the long term for reasons such as examination techniques. In recent years, its awareness has been continuously improved due to the adoption of new screening methods such as scintigraphy, continuous muscle activity and electromyography. Some of the progress made on the research is summarized below. Hormone and Gastrointestinal Motility Functions 1. Lower Esophageal Sphincter (LES): Gastrin increases LES pressure, indicating a rise in LES pressure as gastric acidity increases or decreases. Protein postprandial gastrin secretion increased, LES pressure increased. Similarly, LES pressure also increases following intravenous infusion of 17-GAS, with LES pressure generally associated with blood
