Objective: To analyze and discuss the cognition, attitudes and behavioral intentions of hospital surgical nurses in the reporting of adverse events. Methods: The questionnaire was taken mainly to investigate and count the relative situation of 380 surgical nurses in our hospital. Results: The survey showed that the positive reaction rate of the 380 surgical nurses to the reporting of adverse events was 79.2%, the positive rate of the subjects in the reporting of adverse events was 72.6%, and that of the departmental culture was only 57.4 %. At the same time, some surgical nurses still have more misunderstandings in the process of implementing the related adverse event reports. CONCLUSIONS: Generally speaking, surgical nurses in our hospital are more active in recognizing and reporting on adverse event reports. However, some nurses may be adversely affected to some extent by reports of adverse events. Therefore, in the future work, there is a need to further improve the system mechanism for the reporting of adverse events.
