Objective To analyze the effect of different modes of delivery on postpartum hemorrhage. Methods From March 2012 to April 2013, 439 maternal women were selected as observation subjects. According to mode of delivery, they were divided into natural delivery group (271 cases) and cesarean section group (168 cases). The bleeding rate, blood loss, shock Occurrence rate. Results The rate of postpartum hemorrhage (1.58%) and shock rate (0.37%) in spontaneous delivery group were lower than those in cesarean section group (6.55%, 2.38%). The differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). The amount of bleeding was (648 ± 112) ml in spontaneous labor group and (772 ± 246) ml in cesarean section group, with significant difference between the two groups (P <0.05). Conclusion Advocate natural childbirth, emphasis on prenatal care, in order to minimize the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage.
