1973年6月,周恩来总理在一次访问考察西安时,在给当时陕西省委常委负责同志谈话中说：“30年代末,一次我和林老(指林伯渠同志),从延安去武汉开会时,路过云阳(云阳：指现在的陕西泾阳县),当初八路军总部所在地,孔从周请我们吃羊肉泡漠。朱老总、秦邦宪,邓小平也参加了,大家吃后盛赞西安的羊肉泡馍富有地方特色。”
In June 1973, during a visit to Xi’an, Premier Zhou Enlai said in a statement to responsible comrades of the Standing Committee of Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee at the time: “In the late 1930s, when I and Lin Lao (referring to Comrade Lin Boqu) held a meeting in Wuhan from Yan’an, Passing Yunyang (Yunyang: refers to the present Jingyang County, Shaanxi Province), where the original Eighth Route Army headquarters, Kong Cong Zhou invited us to eat mutton bubble desert. Zhu boss, Qin Bangxian, Deng Xiaoping also participated in, after all, praised Xi’an, Local specialties.”
