“应试教育”深深地植根于中国的传统教育模式。在此模式下,课堂缺少互动,学生只能被动地学习,导致的后果是学生的独创精神欠缺,主动发现思考问题的意识薄弱。因此,与西方国家的学生相比,我国学生的基础知识框架无疑是较稳固的,但运用理论知识和创造的能力却偏低。要提教学质量,我们就必须充分认识到“孩子入学时像问号,毕业后像个句号”的学校教育是失败的。目前,传统的课堂教学更是严重阻碍了职业学校英语教学水平与质量的提高。为激发职中学生学习英语的兴趣,我们以互动的课堂教学取代传统的课堂教学。与传统的教学模式相比,互动模式能更有效地提高自主学习能力,帮助学生充分吸收新知识,并且能在双向交流中提高学生运用英语的能力。构建互动模式,英语教师需要重新定位和认识课堂的基本功能。
“Exam-oriented education ” is deeply rooted in China’s traditional education model. In this mode, the classroom lack of interaction, students can only passively to learn, the result is the lack of creativity of students, take the initiative to find the problem of thinking is weak. Therefore, compared with the students in western countries, the basic knowledge framework of our students is undoubtedly stable, but the ability to apply theoretical knowledge and create is low. To mention the quality of teaching, we must fully understand that “when a child is enrolled in a question mark, after graduation is a full stop,” school education fails. At present, the traditional classroom teaching is a serious obstacle to improve the level and quality of English teaching in vocational schools. In order to arouse the interest of middle and high school students in learning English, we replace traditional classroom teaching with interactive classroom teaching. Compared with the traditional teaching mode, the interactive mode can improve the ability of self-learning more effectively, help students to fully absorb new knowledge, and improve students’ ability to use English in two-way communication. To build an interactive model, English teachers need to reposition and recognize the basic functions of the classroom.
