I am a corporate newspaper reporter who just joined the work soon. Last year, when our newspaper office held a news training course, we listened to an older newspaper reporter. “Mature reporters find the news is like a cat smelling a fishy smell with a natural news smell.” After listening to this “news sensitive” special mystery, perhaps I do not have this quality in this life. I know this “news sensitivity” is the most important ability of a reporter. How can I recognize it and treat it? Please advise. Liu Kai received a letter from Liu Kai from Sichuan University. We found out that the article “What do you know about” news-sensitive “You” in Nanjing Normal University’s School of Journalism is very specific and not only clearly defines the psychology of “news-sensitive” But also emphasizes the news-sensitive scientific cognition stemming from “news practice and vocational training”, hoping that readers will get the correct understanding from it, and enhance their confidence in engaging in news work and cultivating the capability of “news-sensitive”. --editor
