消费社会理论认为当代西方社会已经从生产型社会转变为消费型社会,消费不仅从个人的活动变成社会性的活动,而且消费本身成为直接影响人的社会生活的意识形态。消费意识形态通过广告等现代传媒实现理性与非理性的完美合谋,对人的社会消费活动进行总体调控,直接影响和建构当代消费社会的人的社会存在模式。
Consumer society theory holds that contemporary western society has changed from a productive society to a consumer society. Consumption not only changes from individual activities to social activities, but also consumes itself an ideology that directly affects people’s social life. Consumption ideology through the advertising and other modern media to achieve perfect conspiracy of rational and irrational, the overall regulation and control of human social spending activities, and directly affect and construct the social existence of contemporary consumer society model.
