前日里,在燕山脚下,应邀参观了浙江吉利集团生产的“美日MR6370A”型轿车。该车发动机采用与夏利2000相同的丰田TA8A-FE发动机、四缸电喷,总排量1.342升,百公里经济耗油不到5升,最高时速可达150公里以上,环保排放达到欧Ⅱ型标准,此外,该车在安全性、操控性、外观上也都有不少可取的地方。这样的一款精心设计、打造,适合于中国国情的经济型乘用车,售价才6.58万,几乎所有的在场者都认为在价格性能比上具有优势。令我赞叹的是,这居然是一个民营企业的产品,而这个企业投身汽车制造迄今为止仅仅4年的时间,在此之前,和轮子打交道的记录只限于摩托车。我想,美日汽车的出现,对于中国汽车业来说可能是个特别重要的事,
