The spectral analysis shows that the SSTA has the same oscillation period as the North Pacific SSTA, while the SSTA in the westerly drift region has a period of 37 months with a low frequency of 5 months 3 months of high frequency oscillation. In the low-temperature oscillation of the SST field, the amplitude of SSTA oscillations in the equatorial eastern Pacific is about one order of magnitude larger than that in the westerly drift region, with a phase advance of about 2 months, indicating that the SSTA change in the eastern equatorial Pacific leads and plays a leading role in the SSTA changes throughout the North Pacific . The oscillation cycles of the western Pacific subtropical high are consistent with the SSTA and PTI in the eastern equatorial Pacific in the low frequency part and consistent with the SSTA in the westerly drift region in the high frequency part, indicating that the long-term variation of the western Pacific subtropical high is controlled by the SSTA in the equatorial East Pacific, It is mainly affected by the SST drift in the westerly drift area.
