公路是人们出行的便捷通道,是物资与信息传递的纽带,更是打开幸福之门的金钥匙。新疆从改革开放前草草整修的简易公路、自然公路发展到今天,初步形成了以乌鲁木齐为中心,以国道干线为主骨架,环绕并穿越两大盆地,辐射地、州、市、县、乡和农牧团场,东联甘肃、青海,南接西藏,西出中亚、西亚各国,北达蒙古国的干支线公路交通网,新疆公路交通的发展推动并见证着新疆人迈向幸福的每一步。
