就目前东莞初中美术特色情况,分析了美术特色教学出现的原因,提出了特色教学存在的弊端,主要有以下几方面的问题:特色教学势必制约着美术知识的普及,特色教学存在功利性;特色教学限制学生兴趣的发展,具有单一性;特色教学与当前“面向全体学生,与学生发展为本”教育理念以及课程目标相违背;特色教学与初中生年龄阶段认知特征不相适应。针对此,提出了美术教学的出路。主要从找准学科定位,凸显美术学科特色;初中美术教学,应在普及中有侧重;初中美术特色教学,不单是画种上的特色,例如版画,线描等,还可以延伸到题材上的特色;尊重学生个性,给予学生一定的自由度;阶段性的实施,逐步形成总体特色以上五个方面来说明初中美术教学的出路。
