范季融是美国著名的中国文物收藏家。1991年以来,曾多次向国家捐赠青铜器、书画等珍贵文物,在中、美两国博物馆界产生了重大影响。范季融祖籍宁波,1936年在上海出生。他的父亲范回春(1877-1970年),是位生意人,开电影公司,在闵行开跑马场,在上海颇有名气,解放前去了台湾。范回春虽在商海中沉浮,对子女的教育却甚为重视,把儿子送到圣约翰小学读书。1950年,范季融随父亲去香港,进华诚书院读中学,高中还没有毕业,就以优异成绩取得美国奖学金,进
Fan Jirong is a famous American collector of Chinese artifacts. Since 1991, he has donated precious cultural relics like bronze, calligraphy and painting to the country on many occasions and has had a significant impact on the museum community in China and the United States. Fan Jirong ancestral home Ningbo, 1936 was born in Shanghai. His father, Fan Huichun (1877-1970), was a businessman, a film company, a racecourse in Minhang, quite famous in Shanghai and Taiwan before liberation. Although Fan Hui-chun ups and downs in the sea of commerce, children’s education is very much valued, the son sent to St. John’s primary school. In 1950, Fan Jirong went to Hong Kong with his father and went to Huacheng College to attend middle school. Before he graduated from high school, he got the American scholarship with honors.
