当前大学非英语专业英语词汇教学中对词汇的语义联系重视不足,导致学生词汇学习和记忆的效率低下,严重影响学生英语能力的整体提升和他们的学习信心。本文以认知语言学的概念隐喻理论为指导,在教学中引入该理论的同时,试图把培养学生的概念隐喻能力作为突围这一困境的良策,以期让学生在了解隐喻的映射工作机制的基础上使自身的词汇记忆得到长期的巩固。
At present, the semantic connection of vocabulary in non-English major English vocabulary teaching is not enough, which leads to the inefficiency of vocabulary learning and memory of students, which seriously affects the overall improvement of students’ English proficiency and their confidence in learning. Guided by the theory of conceptual metaphor of cognitive linguistics, this paper attempts to introduce the theory into teaching and tries to develop the students’ ability of conceptual metaphor as a good way to break through this dilemma so that students can understand the basic working mechanism of metaphor mapping Make its own vocabulary memory long-term consolidation.
