“请”是文言文中使用频率较高的词语,它有两种不太容易分辨的用法:(1)请求他人做某事,是动词;(2)请求对方允许自己做某事,是表敬副词。对这两种用法如何区分和判定,参考书及其他参考资料均无说明,字典上也只是作大致的解释,以致学生在“请”的用法上无据可依。如何判别“请”在句子中具体是哪种用法呢?下面方法可以一试:看“请”字后面的动词是谁发出的动作(或行为)。1.若“请”后面的动词所表示的动作行为是该句所陈述的对象(即该句的主语)发出的,则此“请”字为表敬副词,是“请求别人允许自己做某事”之意。下面分析一例:
