Eva Zeisel是美国女性陶瓷设计师,她长达80余年的设计生涯足以使她成为欧美女性陶瓷设计师中的代表人物之一。她亲历了日用陶瓷器由手工转向大工业生产的过程,并成为第一个将陶瓷艺术融入现代化大规模生产的女性。她的设计一度风靡整个美国,毋庸置疑,她对现代陶艺的发展起了绝对的推动作用。本文通过案例分析法、文献研究法、定性分析法等方法进行研究,打破传统以男性为主的研究方向,从新的角度研究女性设计师对现代日用陶瓷设计发展的作用。
Eva Zeisel is an American female ceramic designer whose more than 80-year career in design has made her one of the leading representatives of European and American female ceramic designers. She witnessed a shift from hand-made ceramics to large-scale industrial ceramics and became the first woman to integrate ceramic art into modern mass production. She once swept the design of the entire United States, no doubt, her development of modern ceramics played an absolute role in promoting. Through the methods of case analysis, literature research and qualitative analysis, this dissertation breaks the traditional male-oriented research direction and studies the female designer’s role in the design development of modern household ceramics from a new perspective.
