Cell Japan has developed a ALPHA-1 portable tactical searchlight that can perform a variety of military and police tasks such as border patrolling, crowd control, search and rescue. The portable tactical searchlight quality 4kg (including battery, excluding tripod), powered by lithium batteries. The irradiation distance up to 2km, both for lighting, but also can be used as a non-lethal weapon. When exposed to the human eye at a distance of 25 meters, people may be temporarily blind but will not cause permanent blindness, causing a blinding time of 20 minutes.
