本月初,LG宣布此前在CES 2013大会上推出的可弯曲屏OLED电视已经开始量产。LG并非全球首家研发出可弯曲OLED屏幕的厂商,却是第一家开始量产的厂商。可弯曲的电视屏幕能够减少用户观看两侧屏幕画面时可能产生的视觉失真,而这款型号为EA9800的可弯曲电视屏幕厚度仅4.3mm,重量仅17kg,支持3D,将在今年6月前后上市。
Earlier this month, LG announced that the previous bendable OLED TVs launched at CES 2013 are already in volume production. LG is not the first company in the world to develop a flexible OLED screen, but it is the first manufacturer to start mass production. The flexible TV screen reduces visual distortion that users may experience when viewing screens on both sides. The model EA9800’s flexible TV screen is 4.3mm thick and weighs only 17kg, with 3D support and will be available by June of this year .
