In this paper, 24 CSF samples of 16 patients with tuberculous meningitis (TBM) were measured for sialic acid (SA), and CSF was used as a control in 13 normal subjects to explore the relationship between SA content in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and severity of TB in patients with TBM.
