周矶农场红星一队,是一个粮棉兼作的生产队。全队有574人,180劳力;耕地802亩,其中水田120亩,旱田682亩。近几年来,认真贯彻执行“以粮为纲、全面发展”的方针,在抓好粮棉生产的同时,努力发展黄豆生产。1973年全队共种黄豆296亩,战胜了严重的自然灾害,获得丰收,平均亩产达405斤,比1972年增产42％,比大丰收的1971年增产38.7％。他们的主要经验是:
A team of Red Star Farm Zhouxian, is a cotton production team. The team has 574 people, 180 workers; 802 acres of arable land, of which 120 acres of paddy fields, 682 acres of dry land. In recent years, the principle of “taking grain as the key link and all-round development” has been conscientiously implemented. While grasping the grain and cotton production, we are also striving to develop soybean production. In 1973, the team planted 296 mu of soybean in total and overcame severe natural disasters and achieved a bumper harvest.
