1 Research Origins and Research Issues In 2003, Dr. Fan Lianghuo published his doctoral dissertation. This dissertation conducts in-depth research on how mathematics teachers develop their own teaching knowledge. His research objects are from the three best high schools in Chicago metropolitan area. Mathematics teachers. The research results show that teachers’ teaching knowledge has different sources. Relatively speaking, teachers’ own teaching experiences and reflections, and their daily communication with colleagues, and on-the-job training are teachers. The most important way to develop their teaching knowledge is to participate in organized training.
