研究通过红外粉体在沥青裹覆状态下的降温性能试验和微观结构试验优选出在大气红外窗口波段内具有高红外热辐射性能且价格低廉的红外粉体,并研究将其掺入沥青混合料中制备成降低热岛效应型沥青混合料。通过与普通沥青混合料的对比试验,研究了降低热岛效应型沥青混合料的降温性能和路用性能。研究结果显示:降低热岛效应型沥青混合料具有明显的降温效果,其路用性能均能够满足规范要求,且其高温抗车辙性能指标优于普通沥青混合料。
