在福州市解放前夕,蒋介石曾亲临福州布置福州市的防御,要求驻榕国民党部队死守福州、厦门等城市,以屏障台、澎、金、马。但当时奉命镇守福州的国民党将领李良荣、李延年等人也知道,福州失守不过是个时间问题,守是毫无意义的。此时,他们做得更多的倒是进行“后事”的安排方面。以台湾为中心的庞大的国民党特务机构纷纷采取所谓“应变”措施,他们四处安插特务,秘密布置联络网,以为日后配合国民党的“反攻大陆”埋下伏笔。
On the eve of the liberation of Fuzhou City, Chiang Kai-shek once personally came to Fuzhou for the defense of Fuzhou and demanded that KMT units stationed in Rong should stick to cities such as Fuzhou and Xiamen to defend Taiwan, Peng, Jin and Ma. However, Kuomintang generals Li Liangrong and Li Yannian, who were ordered to guard Fuzhou, were also aware that the fall of Fuzhou was no more than a matter of time, and the defend was meaningless. At this point, they do more to do “aftercare” arrangements. The so-called “contingency” measures taken by the huge Kuomintang spy agencies with Taiwan as the center have all along been deployed by secret agents and network secretly to pave the way for the Kuomintang’s “counterattack” in the future.
