1998和1999年连续两年在沙田柚上应用荔龙宝(一种以黄腐酸和微量元素为主的叶面肥,应用浓度为650mg/kg,在谢花后至果实成熟前喷施)的试验结果表明,荔龙宝可显著提高柚果产量。和对照比较,1998和1999年单株产量分别增加31.8％和57.9％,平均单果重分别增加18.4％和23.9％。喷施后果实品质显著提高,1998和1999年可溶性固形物分别净增加1.6％和2.0%,可食率分别净增加2.8％和3.8％。
