在《教育漫话》中,洛克没有直接使用“以儿童为主体的教育原则”一词,却在文中明确表述了他的主体性教育思想。从《教育漫话》一书中可见洛克以儿童为主体的思想贯穿于始末,集中体现于健康教育、早期教育、道德教育和智力教育等思想之中。所谓以儿童为主体的教育原则是指在教育过程中,教育者要尊重儿童爱好自由的天性,使儿童自主、快乐地学习,成为具有自主性的人。之所以强调自主性教育原则,是因为儿童具有爱好自由的天性。
In “Education Talk”, Locke did not directly use the “principle of child-centered education”, but in the text clearly expressed his subjective education thoughts. From “Education Talk”, Locke’s thought of using children as the main body runs through the whole story, which is embodied in the ideas of health education, early education, moral education and intelligence education. The so-called principle of children as the main body of education refers to the education process, educators should respect the nature of children’s love for freedom, so that children learn independently and happily, as a person with autonomy. The reason why the principle of independent education is emphasized is that children have the nature of freedom of love.
