机化一般被看成是血栓及其他纤維素性炎或血肿块的愈合,轉变成为有生活组织的过程。而且大家一般都同意机化物貭中的新生小血管是来自周围毛細血管的新生,同时都同意胚胎后的血管内皮是保留着血管再生的性貭。作者在本文中,发現动脉內血栓机化与管化过程完全是一个与周围组织并无关系的独立过程。
