陶器,指的是民間陶器;是生根在劳动人民群众中的民間日用陶土制品。——不外乎是些盘盘兒,碗碗兒,罎罎兒,罐罐兒等日砈玫募沂病?民間陶器是劳动人民自己制做又为自己使用的生活資料;也是装飾人民生活的一种工艺美术品。就在这些普通的日常用的陶器上,很鮮明的显露出我国民間艺术的优秀傳統。民間陶器是人民按着自己生活需要和审美要求进行創作的。可以說,它是农民的一种生产活动,也是一种艺术活动;这些活动往往由农副业逐漸轉变为个体的、集体的手工业行业。也正因为这样,陶器同人民的生活、生产是密切相联系着的。
