This article discusses the thermodynamic conditions for the oxidative dephosphorization of Si-Mn alloys. In the silicon molybdenum rod furnace, CaO-SiO_2-MnO-CaF_2 slag system was used for the oxidative dephosphorization of the silicon-manganese alloy, and high dephosphorization and desulfurization rates were achieved.
