为了进一步贯彻落实《全民健身计划纲要》,促进山南地区全民健身运动的蓬勃发展,以健康向上的体育运动占领人们的业余生活阵地,2003年上半年,西藏自治区体胄局拔给山南地区两套价值15万多元的全民健身综台器材,并派人安装在地区湖南体育广场。现在,利用该器材健身的人越来越多,不但有六、七十岁的离退休老人,也有七、八岁的少年儿童。这对于全民健身计划的实施、人们健身意识的形成,必将起到积极的作用。
