大豆螟蛾属鳞翅目螟蛾科,群众叫它闹花虫。是我县丘陵山区为害绿豆、菜豆、小豆、板豆等豆类作物的主要害虫。从七十年代以来,在我县发生普遍,为害日趋严重,一般年份使绿豆减产30—40%,严重年份减产在50%以上,甚至造成豆类作物绝收。猖獗发生的1973年8月20—25日在城关公社的孟村、青山屯和何村公社的于沟、李村四个大队夏播绿豆田间调查,平均百株有虫445头,单株最多的有25头,被害株率100%,豆花、豆蕾被害后几乎脱落光,豆荚被害率达87%,全县近4万亩绿豆因此虫为害造成基本绝收。发生为害一般的1981年8月27日在城关公社青山
