芝麻自古以来就被称为是长生不老之药,受到世界各国的重视,而现在芝麻的效用也在科学方面一一得到证实。让我们一起来了解一下食品界的优等生——芝麻。黑芝麻是脂麻科一年生草木植物——脂麻的成熟种子。芝麻的中药名为胡麻。汉朝张骞通西域时,带回中土。芝麻因油脂含量高达一半以上,可以榨取油脂食用,所以本名称为胡麻,后来又称为脂麻,最后就叫做芝麻。中医学认为,芝麻具有“乌秋发、明耳目、润五脏、益肝肾、坚筋骨、耐饥渴、利大小”等功能,常吃芝麻有益身体健康。在日常饮食中适度加入芝麻,可预防动脉硬化及心肌梗死等疾病。
