“Avant-garde ” is a common term in the writings of modern art, but it is a very uncertain concept. Pioneer was first used in art as an old military term and concept in the early 19th century. When the original meaning of the vanguard gradually became a universal phenomenon in the second half of the twentieth century, the vanguard became almost an opposite concept.
