Apoptosis is an important event in the immune system, which regulates the maturation of lymphocytes, the selection of receptor components and the stability of the internal environment. Among them, T and B lymphocytes undergo a large amount of apoptosis during their development. The Fas / Fas L signaling pathway, the Notch signaling pathway, is the two most important pathways of apoptosis in the immune system. In addition, some costimulatory molecules (such as CD4 0) also play an important role in the selection of T, B lymphocyte survival and apoptosis. Apoptosis, like the growth and differentiation of cells, is essential for immune cells to exert their normal functions. Therefore, the degeneration of apoptosis in the immune system is bound to have a serious impact on the body and lead to a series of related diseases
