英语作为世界上最广泛使用的语言之一,已经成为国际交流中重要的工具。自我国改革开放以来,大学英语课程取得了不俗的效果,大学生的英语阅读水平和词汇掌握数量已获得了较好的成绩。通过二十多年的努力,大学英语在师资、人才培养模式、教学方式等方面已有了长足的发展,但是,大学英语仍然暴露了不少问题,比如:“哑巴英语”现象、大学英语教学的“费时低效”等。在这种形势下,我们更应该关注对大学英语教学的改革和探讨。因此,我们通过对大学生英语现状的分析入手,以期能找出当前大学英语中存在的问题,推动大学英语的改革。
As one of the most widely used languages in the world, English has become an important tool in international exchange. Since the reform and opening up in our country, college English courses have achieved good results. College students have achieved good grades in English reading and vocabulary mastery. Through more than 20 years of hard work, there has been a great development in the use of college English in teachers, personnel training mode and teaching methods. However, there are still many problems exposed in college English such as “dumb English” phenomenon, university English teaching “time-consuming inefficient ” and so on. In this situation, we should pay more attention to the reform and discussion of college English teaching. Therefore, we start with the analysis of the current situation of college English, with a view to find out the current problems in college English and promote the reform of college English.
