Jiuzhai Gully and Huanglong Temple,located in Aba Prefecture of Sichuan Province, were enlisted by the United Nations among the “World’s Natural Heritage”. The scenery there is of the world level but the roads to Jiuzhai and Huanglong in the past were off-grade,narrow and zigzagging. They were difficult to ride on and traffic accidents were common. Sichuan provincial government set to build a ring road from Chengdu to Jiuzhai Gully in 1994. This road is 913 kilometers long. And it is supposed to completC the paving, tunneling and marking by the year 1998. Today this ring road has been opened to traffic. Stafting from Chengdu, you can reach Jiuzhai Gully within one day. The dream of leaving Chengdu in the morning and arriving Jiuzhai in the evening has come true
