《J·阿尔弗瑞德·普鲁弗洛克的情歌》是美国现代派诗歌奠基者T·S·艾略特的代表作之一。诗中多次提到《圣经》、莎士比亚戏剧、但丁《神曲》等中的典型人物和事例,描绘了一个踌躇犹豫、想爱而不敢爱的中年男性知识分子形象,揭示了现代西方社会的精神“荒原”主题。本文从诗歌对《致他羞涩的情人》和《哈姆莱特》的引用出发,从“认同”和“反讽”两个方面来揭示诗歌的互文性主题。
“Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock” is one of the masterpieces of TS Eliot, the founder of American modernist poetry. The poem repeatedly mentions the typical figures and examples in the Bible, Shakespearean drama, Dante Divine Comedy and others. It depicts a middle-aged male intellectual who hesitates to think about love but does not dare to love. It reveals that the modern West Social Spirit “Wasteland ” theme. This essay starts from the quotation of “Shy Lovers” and “Hamlet” in poems and reveals the intertextual themes of poetry from two aspects: “Identity ” and “Irony ”.
