Objective To analyze the relationship between the level of trace elements in children with autism and autism. Methods The contents of Cu, Zn, Mn, Fe, Ca and Mg in 50 children with autism and 50 normal children were determined by atomic absorption spectrometry. Lead (Pb) content. Results The content of copper, calcium and magnesium in autism group was lower than that of control group, and the content of lead in whole blood was higher than that of control group. There were no significant differences in zinc and iron contents between the control group and the control group (zinc and iron t values were 0.599 and 0.645, P values were 0.550 and 0.521, respectively, P> 0.05). Conclusion There is a significant change in trace elements in whole blood of children with autism, and the contents of copper, magnesium, calcium and lead in whole blood have higher reference value.
